Fort Mill HS Band Wins Ohio BOA Regional Championship

Congratulations?goes out to the the Fort Mill High School Marching Band for a job well done. The FMHS Band?On Saturday October 15, won every award that they could in Akron Ohio including the winner and Regional BOA Champion.

The Oct 15th 2011 Akron Bands Of America completion?consisted of 22 bands competing from 8 states.?This is the first time the Fort Mill Band has won 1st place at the ?BOA Regional Championship. The previous highest finish was 2nd place.?

The Fort Mill HS Band buses arrived back in Fort?Mill?Sunday evening as were greeted?by an escorted by the local fire and police department. ?At the FMHS school, parents and supporters gathered to cheer on the students for their achievement.
