Rock Hill developer Warren Norman Company, Inc. is building a 102 room Hampton Inn and Suites in Fort Mill, SC. ?It will be a six-story hotel located at 1520 Carolina Place Drive located off of Highway 160 behind Lowe?s Home Improvement and across from Baxter Village. The hotel is scheduled to be open sometime in the first quarter 2015 June 2015.
The ground breaking ceremony was April 24th, 2014. Photographer Cliff Nichols was at the ceremony and said in a Facebook post;
As many of you know a ground breaking ceremony was held yesterday for the new Hampton Inn & Suites. It’s located behind Lowes across from Baxter Village. SC Rep. Ralph Norman headed up the big event. Tega Cay was represented by Mayor George Sheppard, Councilman Ron Ron T Kirby, Municipal Clerk Katie Poulson and her husband Jacob. This is going to be a great asset for our community!

Scott, Is this hotel open yet? I’m coming to Fort Mill in 2 weeks and would love to stay there. I used to live in Fort Mill and would rather not stay in Rock Hill.
