Visit York County hosted the 2nd annual Battle at the Rock Basketball Showcase Dec 12 – 14, 2019. The 3 day event featured thirty six men’s and women’s high school basketball teams. Talk of the Town Carolina host Patti Mercer interviewed Visit York County’s President/CEO Billy Dunlap to find out what happened at the event.
In it’s second year, the 3 day event was held at Nation Ford High School and featured local, regional, and national teams. Some of the players are expected to be among the top draft picks in the 2020 National Basketball Association (NBA) Draft next year.
