The 2019 Southeastern Regional Junior Olympic Boxing Tournament was held in Rock Hill, SC for the first time in history. Boxers ages 11 – 16 from 4 states competed at Rock Hill High School. Talk of the Town Carolinas host interviewed Mario Noviello to find out more about this unique boxing event.
Youth Boxers representing North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, & Florida came to Rock Hill, SC to compete in this advancing tournament. Winners will be eligible to compete in the National Junior Olympics. The tournament comes to South Carolina every 5 years and Mario Noviello played a big part in bringing this event to Rock Hill for the first time this year.
