Keeping it legal never tasted so good! There’s a new hot spot in Rock Hill for beer and food.?In 2015 Legal Remedy Brewing converted a vacant Rock Hill, SC auto dealership into a custom craft brewery and brewpub. Their onsite brewing system can produce up to 10,000 barrels of craft beer per year. And, their food is as crafty and good as their beer.
Talk of the Town stopped by on a Tuesday evening and found a Tuesday night running group and a restaurant full of customers.?Patti interviewed co-owner Mark Van Sickle and Co-Manger Doug McKinney to find out more about Legal Remedy Brewing Company.
Legal Remedy Brewing was founded in 2009 by five Fort Mill, SC garage brewing friends. After winning their first formal homebrewing contest in 2012, the group of friends?decided?to make it legal and open their?Rock Hill brewery and restaurant.
Some of their more popular craft beers are Alibi Ale, Sequestered Saison, and Pro Bono Porter. In addition to on-site sales, Legal Remedy Brewing beers are available in restaurants and retailers throughout South Carolina and Charlotte, NC.
