Pelican’s Snoballs Supports Tega Cay Camp Cadets

On June 3rd, 2016, Pelican’s Snoballs in Tega Cay held a fundraising night for the Tega Cay Police Camp Cadet program. This June summer camp is focused on rising 5th, 6th and 7th graders with the purpose of education and fostering good relationships between children and Public Safety officers through an interactive environment. The program is a week long camp which includes fire education, Police K-9 demonstration, Swat Demonstration, water activities, amusement park, and much more.

The camp is limited to 40 students . Campers are selected by letter of recommendation from a sponsor. The camp is free and funded by donations.

So fundraisers like the Pelican’s Snoballs event is crucial to keep the camp going. Pelican’s Snoballs has two locations one near Tega Cay and in Fort Mill, SC. Watch this video to learn more anout Camp Cadet and Pelican’s Snoball.
