What Happened At The Tega Cay Fall Festival 2016

The 2016 Tega Cay Fall Festival was be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at the Tega Cay Golf & Conference Center. The annual festival featured live music from The Big Bamboo Band & entertainment performances throughout the day, a free kids’ zone (bouncy houses, climbing wall) , pumpkin patch, contests, 10 food trucks, beer garden and a wide variety of art, craft and local business vendors.

Talk of the Town host Patti Mercer interviewed several attendees and officials to get the scoop on this year?s Fall Festival.

She interviewed, Tega Cay Mayor Sheppard, Tega Cay Parks and Rec Dir Joey Blethen, Tega Cay Cay Firemen, Families attending the festival, Tega Cay May Pro Tempe Don O?Neal, Penny Sheppard, and a rare cameo appearance interview with Talk of the Town creator Carmen Miller.

A big part of the festival is the Tega Cay Lion’s Club annual costume contest for Ages 0-9. Kids parade in front of the stage and compete for cutest, most original and scariest.

In the Pumpkin Patch, each family could take home a free pumpkin. The Hula Hoop contest was a big hit! Other entertainment included DJ Tim Brown, the Springfield Middle School Chorus, DanceCenter USA, Fort Mill Musical Sister Act, and Encore Dance.
