The 130 member Tega Cay Women?s Club is supporting October?s Breast Cancer Awareness month with a Mardi Bra Fundraiser. ?Members of the TC Women’s Club created Mardi Bras. During the month of October, the TC Women?s Club Mardi Bras will be on display at various locations in Tega Cay. They are asking you to vote for your favorite Mardi Bra design by putting a dollar or more in each bra?s voting canister.
The Mardi Bras are on display at the Miller Realty Groups office at 7675 Tega Cay Drive for the first part of the month. Proceeds from the fundraiser will support local nothingpink.org.
NothingPink is an organization created to eliminate inherited breast cancer deaths that result from the expense and misinformation surrounding preventative genetic testing. They educate women about genetic testing options and help low and middle-income women pay for testing.
The Tega Cay Women?s Club meets the last Thursday of every month at the Tega Cay Glennon e?lower level. Don’t?forget to visit the Tega Cay Women’s Club Garage Sale during the Tega Cay Fall Festival. The garage sale will be held in the lower level of the Glennon Center.
