Tega Cay’s Eddie Z’s Concert & Food Truck Rallies

Tega Cay’s first concert for 2016 was Eddie Z’s Concert for Kidneys and Food Truck Takeover. It was an event originally planned for last fall, but was cancelled because of rain. The April 9th concert was a huge success. Talk of the Town was there to capture the sights and sounds of the concert. Eddie Zimmerman’s?Charity Case band was the headliner and The Porter Blue Band kicked off the concert.

The Food Truck’s where Spoon’s BBQ, The Plated Palette, Maki Taco, Gourmet Goombahs, Philly’s Italian Ice and Comfort Foods on Wheels.

Eddie Z’s, who is a kidney transplant survivor, themed the concert with a focus on Kidney disease awareness and prevention.

Interviews in this episode include: Becky Funderburk, George Sheppard, Penny, Colleen, Joey Blethen, Emily Jaeckli, Eddie Zimmerman, and Chris Porter.

Moving forward,?Tega Cay has re-banded their Summer Concerts as Food Truck Rallies this year. The summer events will be a balance of bands and DJ’s. ?The 2016 schedule is:

• May 14th: U-Phonik
• June 18th: DJ Tim Brown
• August 20th: DJ Tim Brown
• September 17th: Big Bamboo Band

Rallies are held at?Runde Park?from 6:00 PM-10:00 PM.?Kids area with bounce castles for all ages
