The ASC Greenway Welcome center (Greenway Gateway) is now open. Patti Mercer interviewed Elizabeth Bowers about the Welcome Center and fall activities like Greenway Gateway Sunset Sessions, Fall Frolic, and the Winter Holiday Fair.
Some Fall Events at the Greenway:
Sunset Sessions at the Gateway, Sep 6 – Oct 25 , 2019, Every Friday in September and October for Sunset Sessions at the Greenway Gateway! Enjoy the relaxed sounds of local artists on the Gateway lawn while the sun dips over the horizon. The Gateway Canteen will be open and offering a full menu as well as dinner specials. Grab a blanket or lawn chair and welcome the weekend in the relaxing atmosphere of the Greenway. No outside food or alcohol allowed. Free for members | $5 for nonmembers.
Saturdays and Sundays, October 12 – 27, 10am – 4pm Celebrate fall the last three weekends in October beginning Saturday, October 12 at Fall Frolic on the Anne Springs Close Greenway, featuring a myriad of fall festival fun from wagon rides and a homegrown pumpkin patch to the kiddie corn maze. Now in its tenth year, the festival’s most popular activities will be back in action, including wagon rides, hay bale mazes, corn crib, barnyard buddies (farm animals), pedal carts, horse rides, monster mural, pumpkin patch, hay gaga ball, cow train, pumpkins, gem mining & SO much more!
Winter Wonderland Holiday Market November 30th, More than 150 artists and crafters from the Charlotte region will offer unique holiday gifts and decorations at the Winter Wonderland Holiday Market on Saturday, November 30 at the Anne Springs Close Greenway.
