The 14th annual ChristmasVille Rock Hill was on December 5th-8th, 2019. This 4 day festival had over 100 events. Patti interviewed Festival Chair Derek McQuiston and Vice Chair Bara Wetherell to get the inside scoop of the annual festival.
ChristmasVille relies on the help of nearly 500 volunteers to transform the city’s “Old Town” into an enchanting storybook village. Activities during the 4 day event, include horse drawn carriage rides, historic tours, strellrolling Dickens carolers, art, theater, dance, music, a gingerbread house contest, multiple Santa activities, and an ice skating rink. ChristmasVille also celebrates the magical art of Vernon Grant with festive holiday decorations, santas, and gnomes.
