A well known barbecue restaurant in Indian Land has announced they will open another location in Tega Cay. Sometime in early February 2014, the 521 BBQ will open in the Stonecrest shopping center on Highway 160 in Tega Cay.
Carlos Cafe had originally occupied the space of the new 521 BBQ. Hopefully 521 BBQ will have a much longer life than Carols Cafe who was open for a little more than a year, but closed after problems with theft of customer credit card information and other factors.
According to the website, 521 BBQ has a signature rub for their meats and?then smoked for 14 hours on their premises. The BBQ you order in the restaurant today was rubbed and cooked last night! Every bite of BBQ we serve is always freshly smoked.
If you are a BBQ lover, their menu is loaded with BBQ pork, chicken, ribs, steaks, hamburgers, sandwiches and more. They also have a sizable kids menu.
