Here is an excerpt from the February 2014 City of Tega Cay Newsletter about Cameron Creek.
Tega Cay City Manger?Charlie Funderburk said
“Many of you are aware that the City has annexed Cameron Creek on Hwy 160 (75+ acres?

surrounding and including the old goat farm). ?This development is going to bring a tremendous upside to the Stonecrest Development and Tega Cay as a whole. ?This will be the first development for MI Homes in Tega Cay and we are excited about the product they are bringing. ?It is very complementary to our builders in Lake Ridge, River Lakes and Serenity Point. ?With the rear-load/alley way garages, it will look similar to some of the first phases in Baxter Village. ?Two of the biggest benefits this community will bring to Tega Cay are a positive revenue stream and further development within the Stonecrest area. ?At build-out, Cameron Creek will be a mix of single family detached homes and townhomes (single family attached) totaling around 330 units. ?This will result in approximately $500,000 net annual revenue to the City once the development is completed. ?By putting this many roof tops with a connector road directly into Stonecrest Blvd., we anticipate seeing additional commercial (retail/food & beverage) growth in the very near future.”
