The preliminary?November 8 2011 Tega Cay election results show Ron Kirby and Chris Larsen securing the 2 available Tega Cay City Council seats. Out of 5,896 register voters in Tega Cay,?approximately 13% voted Tuesday. Greg Rogers, who ran in the last Tega Cay election for city council came up at least 167 votes short to win a city council.

Both Cris Larsen and Ron Kirby are not new to the Tega Cay City Council. Chris Larsen is?currently?on the city council and Ron Kirby has served on the council in prior years and is filling John Dervay seat which expires in January.
