Tega Cay’s Comprehensive Plan For the Next 10 Years

We’ve been reviewing the new Tega Cay Comprehensive 10 Year Plan published December 2014. We wanted to share a few portions of the plan with you.

The Comprehensive Plan includes 4 sections. The first section is a vision?statement and core values of Tega Cay.

The second?section of the plan includes nine?mandatory planning elements.

The third section of the Comprehensive Plan?includes the public participation in developing the
plan including public input. Some key questions you answered were:

• ?Tega Cay should grow in the next ten years by encouraging… the most popular answer was balanced growth.
• ?If residential property taxes are needed to increase to fund?improvements, what would you and your family support? The most popular answer was roadway improvements.
